I thought this quote was funny because it is so true! But I don't agree that it only apply's to men, if anyone's beliefs/ideals are threatened they tend to step into action.

This Quote talks about how men never move or put anything into action unless they are challenged mentally or physically. Maya Angelou uses a long sentence (The one from above), to state one of the ways men act.
